WAI Last Frontier’s 5th annual International Girls in Aviation Day was held on October 5, 2019 at the University of Alaska Anchorage Aviation Technology Campus.
Career mentors from a wide variety of aviation fields shared the excitement of aviation with 38 middle and high school aged girls during the day king event. Inspirational speakers like fighter pilot Chelsea Bailey and UPS captain Kelly Lepley encouraged girls to go after their dreams, dream big, and work hard.
